Styling Cold Shoulder and Off-the-Shoulder Tops
Cold Shoulder and Off-the-shoulder tops and dresses aren’t going anywhere. So what type of bra is best for this effortlessly chic fashion trend that’s everywhere?
To begin, there’s a difference between Cold Shoulder and Off-the-shoulder tops. The image below shows the difference. Numbers 2, 3, 4 are off the shoulder styles while 5, 6, 7 are cold shoulder styles.
A Multiway Strapless Bra: If you want the girls to look rounded and in their right place underneath your cold shoulder or off the shoulder tops, try an underwire strapless bra style with good support, I will always recommend a moulded cup.
Fit tip: if it looks like your breasts will spill, be free to go up in cup size to avoid spillage and If you feel the band is not tight enough for your strapless bra to stay in place, go down a band size to ensure it doesn’t slip.

Tubes – are also a great choice. Make sure they are tight enough to prevent rolling or sliding.
What if it’s an off the shoulder #bodycon dress? You can try a one piece strapless bodyshaper like the one on the right.

While you can get away with regular straps while wearing some cold-shoulder styles, you may still require a strapless bra for others. Generally, the best bra for this fashion trend is a strapless bra.
Cold shoulder tops and off the shoulder tops are in season and don’t be caught wearing the wrong underwear with them. A lot of people might think they don’t need a bra with this style considering that most off the shoulder tops are frilly; but in actual sense you are better off wearing a strapless bra or a tube to give your outfit the needed structure.
There’s no way around it with this style, so splurge on a high-quality, perfect-fitting strapless bra, or a well fitting tube bra or a strapless bodybriefer if it’s an Off-the-shoulder bodycon dress.
