How Meghan Markle Will Spend Her First Birthday As A Royal
The Duchess of Sussex’ 37th birthday is knocking in less than a fortnight and we can’t be any more happier for this special event of the year. We are particularly excited because it’s her first as a royal. Come 4th of August, the Duchess will be blowing out some candles.
We are well aware of the privacy involved in royal family celebrations and how they often take the day off from formal engagements as well. In the light of this, new details have emerged on how the Duchess might spend the day.
The Duchess was said to likely spend her birthday at a wedding with Prince Harry, where he will serve as the best man to one of his closest friends, Charlie van Straubenzee. The two friends reportedly met as children while attending the Ludgrove Prep School in Berkshire, England, and Straubenzee attended Prince Harry’s wedding as well.
Royal photographer Tim Rooke confirmed Prince Harry’s attendance at the wedding via his twitter page, he wrote;
“Unfortunately I will be missing the wedding of Charlie van Straubenzee and Daisy Jenks where Prince Harry will be best man on August 4th in Churt Surrey as I will be on the beach. Can’t do everything!”
It has been a busy summer! No more tweets till I visit the Faroe Islands with The Danish Crown Prince Couple and their children towards the end of August.Have a great holiday everyone.Don't forget the sunscreen.

There hasn’t been any official confirmation of the Duchess’s attendance, but all fingers point in the way of her being by the Prince’s side as usual. We recall that the Duchess spent her previous birthday with the Prince during a holiday in South Africa. (he was just a boyfriend then. . .)
