The degree of anticipation for the “Lara and the Beat” movie was becoming unquantifiable than the public could bear before the idea of a premiere was finally introduced.
The joint appearance of versatile rap king, Vector with sultry singer, Seyi Shay has not manifested in music yet but look who we have together in Lara and the Beat! No doubts that this duo landed themselves quite a shot for their debut, we are running out of awe and patience to see what transpired between them.
“Lara and the Beat” finally screened for the first time in Nigeria with screen queens like Toyin Aimakhu, Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha and Seyi Shay in attendance. Cast crew including Vector, Somkele Idhalama, Biola Alabi, Saidi Balogun, brought their A-game from the finishing of the job to the red carpet.
Others at the event were Joke Silva, Bisola Aiyeola, Wale Ojo, Tope Tedela, Beverly Naya, Bolanle Olukanni , Sound Sultan.
“Lara and the Beat” is about the young and beautiful Giwa sisters caught in the center of a financial scandal with their late parents’ Media Empire. The sisters are forced out of their privileged bubble, and must learn to build their own future and salvage their family’s past.
