Marketing Officer

Position Summary

We are looking for an innovative and results-driven Marketing Officer to spearhead our marketing efforts and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of Brief Essentials. In this key role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing comprehensive marketing strategies across both traditional and digital platforms, while driving business development and brand expansion.

You will lead initiatives that grow our community, amplify brand visibility, and foster partnerships that position Brief Essentials as a leader in the market. Working closely with teams across the organization, you will manage content creation, influencer partnerships, customer engagement strategies, and much more to ensure we exceed growth and sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans that align with business goals and drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand our reach.
  • Lead the creation of compelling content for our blog, social media, and other marketing channels, ensuring alignment with brand tone and objectives.
  • Manage influencer collaborations and build relationships with key stakeholders to boost brand visibility and engagement.
  • Oversee customer retention programs and champion initiatives that deepen community engagement and loyalty.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing data, adjusting strategies to optimize performance and ensure consistent growth.
  • Collaborate across departments to synchronize business development, PR, and communication efforts, ensuring a cohesive brand message.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree 
  • Experience (3 - 5 years) in marketing, sales, content writing and operations management
  • A creative, data-driven mindset with a deep understanding of both digital and traditional marketing strategies.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and external relationships.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for building community and engaging customers.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce operations, digital marketing, and automation tools is a plus.

Accounts & Admin Officer​

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts and Admin Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping accurate records, preparing financial reports, and performing other routine accounting tasks. In addition, the Accounts and Admin Officer will undertake routine administrative duties to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, assets and liabilities
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
  • Champion Stock Audit for proper financial reports on a quarterly basis.
  • Work with management and consultant where applicable to ensure business compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform routine administrative tasks necessary for operational efficiency. 
  • Assist with other tasks and projects as needed

Requirements
  • OND in Bookkeeping or Accounting related fields.
  • At least 2 years of proven work experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Accounting tools (QuickBooks, Sage, MS Excel etc)
  • Understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Core analytical and problem-solving skills.
